Peat & Cask opens with a soft pour of liqueur and vanilla before the heart of the burn settles into cedarwood and whisky. The base of peat, sandalwood, and smoke gives the room a depth that lingers long after the flame is out. Hand-poured in Cavan, Ireland using 100% natural soy wax and eco-friendly wicks, this is a candle for evenings that call for something grounding. Light it alongside a slow drink or a good book and let the scent build into the room.

• Care: Allow wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling; trim wick to 5mm before each use; burn 2 to 4 hours at a time; keep away from draughts, children, and pets; stop burning when 1cm of wax remains
