Patterned Coconut Bowl & Spoon Single Set

A hand-carved coconut bowl and reclaimed wooden spoon, made for everyday eating at home.

Whether used for a morning smoothie bowl, a midday salad, or a warming ramen, the bowl sits comfortably in hand and rests well at the table. Its compact size and natural weight make it a piece suited to daily use rather than the occasional occasion.

Each bowl is shaped from a coconut shell sourced from the Bên Tre region in southern Vietnam, an area known for the quality of its coconuts. For many years, local farmers earned an income from coconut by-products such as oil and milk, while the shells themselves were burned as agricultural waste. By choosing these bowls, you provide the farming communities with a secondary income and give those discarded shells a longer, more considered life.

Once harvested, the shells are hand-carved by skilled craftspeople into bowls with etched surface patterns. Because each piece begins as a natural material, no two bowls are identical in tone, grain, or marking. The natural surface has a quiet warmth in the hand. The accompanying spoon is made from reclaimed wood. Both are vegan-friendly, BPA-free, and produced without chemical treatments.

With consistent care, both bowl and spoon hold up well over time. The natural surface deepens gradually with use, reflecting the material's origins in an honest way.

Care

Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry with a cloth. Not suitable for the dishwasher or microwave. Each set arrives plastic-free in a recycled kraft paper gift box. Please recycle or reuse the packaging where possible.
